Drive and control
One chain from selection to volume production
We design custom, high-reliability motor (BLDC) drive and control on manufacturers' chips, and deliver the design software with them. These are production-ready designs — they go straight into volume manufacturing rather than stopping at sample or evaluation stage. Once the design is finalized it connects directly into board manufacturing and component supply, with no repeated hand-offs between parties.
Custom, high-reliability motor drive and control
Our work is centered on custom, high-reliability motor drive and control. Below are the technical points the design covers.
- Custom, high-reliability motor (BLDC) drive: square-wave (six-step commutation) and sine-wave drive, covering low, medium and high voltage application ranges
- Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) control: field-oriented control (FOC) designs with the matching software
- Sensorless and sensored control: rotor position estimation methods including back-EMF zero crossing and flux observation
- Power stage and protection design: MOSFET / IGBT gate drive, current sensing, over-current and over-temperature protection
- MCU hardware and software platform: firmware and toolchain support on MCUs from Cmsemicon, Fortior and PUYA, and other manufacturers
- Design software delivery: flashable firmware, parameter configuration tools, commissioning and calibration support
Layer by layer, from motor type to component supply
The difficulty in custom, high-reliability motor drive projects usually lies in the joins between control algorithm, power stage, component supply and volume validation. The table below sets out our coverage in those layers.
| Capability layer | Coverage | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Motor types | Custom, high-reliability motor (BLDC) Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) |

| Drive topology | Square-wave drive · sine-wave drive · field-oriented control (FOC) | Topology chosen by the application's requirements for noise, efficiency and smoothness |
| Rotor position sensing | Sensorless estimation · sensored (Hall and others) | Sensorless covers back-EMF zero crossing and flux observation; the method is fixed per project |
| Control loops and functions | Speed loop · current loop · position loop Constant-pressure / constant-current / constant-power control |
Loop structure and functions configured to the application |
| Power stage design | MOSFET / IGBT drive · current sensing · drive protection | Voltage and power ranges fixed per project |
| Communication and interfaces | UART / I2C / SPI / PWM / analog and other common forms | Selected to the design requirement |
| Protection | Over-current · over/under-voltage · over-temperature · blocked rotor | Protection strategy configured to the design |
| Software and toolchain | Flashable firmware · parameter configuration · commissioning and calibration support | Design software is delivered with the design as a whole, not broken out separately |
| Manufacturing and volume validation | Application development · volume validation · smart manufacturing | Handled by the Jiangmen plant (see Validation and smart manufacturing); ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 held (obtained 2025) |
| Component supply | Main control MCU · power devices and driver ICs · discrete devices and passives | 14 manufacturers' authorizations; parts can be matched as a complete kit for the design (see Electronic components) |

Selecting the main control platform by application
Applications place different demands on the main controller: motor drive is covered by dedicated MCU platforms, while low power and touch control have their own emphases. The platform is selected to the application.
Motor drive and control MCU platform
Cmsemicon · 688380.SH
A main control MCU platform for motor drive and control, covering motor drive control and control-class MCU directions; resources and peripherals are balanced, suiting drive and control applications with fairly standard functionality and high volume.
Dedicated motor drive control MCU
Fortior · 688279.SH
A dedicated MCU platform for motor drive control, covering sensorless FOC, suited to applications that place higher demands on control performance and algorithm support.
Low-power main control
PUYA · 688766.SH
Aimed at ultra-low power, covering low power and wide voltage requirements, for product forms that are sensitive to quiescent power.
Appliance touch MCU
SinOne
8-bit / 32-bit Flash MCU direction, for appliance-grade high interference immunity and touch control, supporting air-gap touch and reference-capacitor-free touch; a National "Little Giant" Enterprise.
Power-stage devices
CR Micro (688396.SH) · JieJie Microelectronics (300623.SZ) · Convert (688693.SH) · Xiner
Power devices are selected by the voltage, current and package the design needs; all four are covered by manufacturer authorization.

Four steps from requirement to delivery
Requirement discussion
Describe the application, motor type, voltage and current range and target cost; we judge the feasible path.
Design confirmation
We propose the design approach and the parts, set out what will be delivered, and settle whether we build the boards or the customer does.
Prototype validation
We supply a prototype with the matching firmware, support commissioning and parameter calibration, and confirm the key indicators.
Volume delivery
The Jiangmen plant handles volume board manufacturing (see Validation and smart manufacturing); components are matched under manufacturer authorizations (see Electronic components).
